I’m pretty sure I’m addicted to Buffalo Wild Wings. I’ve started ordering their food before they even open. I don’t want to wait until 13:30 to get my wings. I want to go to lunch NOOWWWW. 
I had a very good day yesterday. Got a tan, a massage, my eyebrows waxed, a haircut, and quite a few new clothes. With the money I’m getting from my new job I’m actually able to do some of the things that I want to do. (Namely get the clothes I want to get.) I figured that I’ve never had just a day of pampering to myself so I just wanted the experience once before I get shipped off. (Still don’t know when that is going to be.) Yes, it was fairly expensive, but it’s not something I plan to do very often. Maybe once every year or so, you know? Quite honestly, yesterday made me feel super good about myself. It was one of those “I look good and I feel great!” type moments. It was really nice. It let me relieve a lot of stress that has built up over the past few years.
I’m not a selfish person, but it was pretty nice that yesterday was all about me and where I wanted to go and how I looked and what I wanted to buy. I feel really good about myself and so I’m really quite chill at the moment.
I’m really excited about wings today. I don’t know why. I’ve had them for the past 2 days, I really shouldn’t be this excited. Maybe I’m just hungry. Work is pretty chill today so I’m looking forward to a chill lunch and then coming back for a few more hours of money. Hopefully this will be followed closely by chilling with a friend. I could really use that to just round out the past few days.

Hey, kids, I’ve got to get to work here soon (I work at an ISP now) so this post is going to be quick.
I have enlisted in the Delayed Enlistment Program of the United States Air Force. Meaning, I passed the ASVAB (with a 92, noless) and my physical (although they are having me go back fro a drug test sometime next week for reasons that are unbeknownst to me). I am really excited. They could send me to basic anytime between 2 weeks from now until January. There was an opening on the 25th, but I chose not to take it because there is still the possibility that I could be slotted into the job I want before I go into basic. I would really like to go in with a guaranteed job. I am considering going to basic if they don’t slot me with weather so that I will have a second shot at it. I qualified for a massive amout of jobs due to my score on the ASVAB. I unfortuantely only lifted 70 lbs meaning that I’m not qualified for EVERY job.
Today is my Opa’s birthday and I’m not going to be able to make it out to the cemetary.
Well, I have to be going. I’ll likely post tomorrow.

Hey, everyone. I know that the majority (if not all) of you have been keeping up with my daily goings on via Facebook or Twitter or the like, but I would like to put down what’s been going on in a bit more detail. Note that I’m not exactly sure how well any of this makes sense because I am extremely tired. I will try to remember to re-read it tomorrow and edit anything horribly off the wall.
Since I last wrote I decided that I was going to try my hardest to get into the United States Air Force. I was supposed to take the ASVAB (test to get in and determine what jobs you are qualified for) last Wednesday, but there were some issues concerning my high school so I had to get my college transcripts mailed to the recruiter. If they are there by today I will be going to Dallas to take the test this Wednesday. The test will be on Wednesday and then I stay in a hotel overnight and take a physical and get job councilled and just basically work on the more administrative aspects of attempting to join the AF. If my transcripts don’t get to my recruiter by today they should most definitely be there by tomorrow. In which case I will likely go Thursday instead of Wednesday. Hopefully. I may have to wait another week, but as far as it’s looking right now I will know if I made it or not by the end of this week.
I really want to go into the Guaranteed Job program with a job in weather guaranteed once I leave MEPS (where I take the test and physical). I am actually considering holding off on going in until I can get a job in weather guaranteed. It’s what I want to do. What can I say?
Yes, I plan to make a career out of this. Yes, I plan to complete my Bachelor’s. Yes, I plan to become an officer. Of course my plans have a really bad habit of exploding in my face causing little bits of plan shrapnel to get stuck in me until I find another brilliant plan.
Speaking of my education; I have 51 credit hours in college. This means that I get to go in at the E-3 pay grade. As soon as I graduate BMT (basic military training; henceforth known as basic) I will get to pin on two stripes (E-1 has no stripes, E-2 has one, etc). E-3 in the Air Force is Airman First Class.
I will go into more detail about my schedule once everything is further set in stone. Main priority number one right now is passing the ASVAB.
I work for an internet company now. Pretty chilled job. Really all I have to do is sell modems and refer people to our tech support line. The pay isn’t bad, one (of two) co-workers is really cool and the other one I haven’t met yet (she just got married), I get my own cubicle, and the hours are fairly flexible.
This week is super busy for me. I’m in Hope right now because I had to bring my mom back from Texas.
Here’s a rundown of my schedule for the week (ideally):
- Monday: Drive back to Texas
- Tuesday: Work all day
- Wednesday: ASVAB
- Thursday: Physical and all that other good stuff
- Friday: Work all day
That is if everything goes well. If it doesn’t go just right then there will be a very large stick stuck in the gears until I can get everything rearranged.
Luckily I have internet now (working for an ISP has a bit of a nice free internet perk) so I can update with what all is going on with my life. I am aware that it’s not horribly interesting, but it is a stupid amount of busy for a while. Hopefully some of you will be interested in the information I’m throwing out about my life. If you have any questions between now and then you can contact me several ways and I will do my best to get back to you ASAP. The easiest ones are listed in my new “Contact” page (there should be a tab up at the top).
Now I absolutely need sleep. I’m going to wind up leaving for Texas an hour later than expected in the first place due to me really really really needing sleep right now. Well, goodnight, all. Hopefully I will be posting throughout the week and by sure by the end of the week.

I have found some pictures that I took a while back and was just unable to get them from my camera (due to the stupid 2gig limit on SD cards). Turns out my dad had some smaller SD cards so here are some pictures of me. The ones with longer hair are me back in November. The very first picture is from waaaaayyyy back in my Junior year of high school. The ones with shorter hair are me from a few weeks back. These images are unaltered, so don’t make fun of me.
