Hey, kids, I’ve got to get to work here soon (I work at an ISP now) so this post is going to be quick.

I have enlisted in the Delayed Enlistment Program of the United States Air Force. Meaning, I passed the ASVAB (with a 92, noless) and my physical (although they are having me go back fro a drug test sometime next week for reasons that are unbeknownst to me). I am really excited. They could send me to basic anytime between 2 weeks from now until January. There was an opening on the 25th, but I chose not to take it because there is still the possibility that I could be slotted into the job I want before I go into basic. I would really like to go in with a guaranteed job. I am considering going to basic if they don’t slot me with weather so that I will have a second shot at it. I qualified for a massive amout of jobs due to my score on the ASVAB. I unfortuantely only lifted 70 lbs meaning that I’m not qualified for EVERY job.

Today is my Opa’s birthday and I’m not going to be able to make it out to the cemetary.

Well, I have to be going. I’ll likely post tomorrow.
